The Guinean authorities detained 107 Senegalese fishermen while fishing in the territorial waters of Guinea-Bissau without obtaining a permit.
The news website "Senegal News" that the fishermen who were fishing on the four boats were intercepted by the Guinea Coast Guard, and asked them for the necessary licenses they failed to provide.
The source confirmed that the fishermen arrested an appeal to the Senegalese government to intervene for their release, saying they did not know they had crossed the Senegalese maritime border.
